Hi, dear creators of the History!
We hope that you're fine. Today we want to share with you some details of the Mexican history, the temporary divisions or periods that it has. Also, some of the main characteristics of the historical processes during the last five centuries. With this video we inaugurate a new collection that has information for English speakers around the world that are interested in Mexico, its culture, art and history.
In general, the historians divide the Mexican history in four moments: Prehispanic time, the Colonial or Viceroyalty period, the Independent Mexico (XIXth Century) and the Contemporary Mexico (XX-XXI Centuries). The previous centuries made the culture, history, art and the society of this country, the prehispanic period and the New Spain were the mother and the father, after the Spanish conquest of the XVIth Century a new life started with bad and great elements and circumstances, events and processes. Some of them we'll explain in the next video.
